Cinnamon roats
We call them "Cinnamon Roats"—a hybrid of cinnamon rolls and baked oats. Addictively delicious, easy to make, completely kid-friendly, and healthy!
The batter
- 180 g Billiebubs Oh My Applepie
- 2 bananas
- 70 g flour/almond flour
- 400 ml almond milk (unsweetened)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- pinch of salt
Cinnamon swirl
- 3 tbsp almond butter
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp almond milk (unsweetened)
- pinch of salt
Frosting
- 150 g Greek yogurt or quark
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Mash 2 bananas and mix in 400 ml of almond milk, the maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon. Lots of cinnamon. Add 180 grams of Billiebubs, 70 grams of flour, a pinch of salt, and baking powder. Pour the mixture into a baking pan.
For the cinnamon swirl, mix 3 tablespoons of almond butter with 3 tablespoons of maple syrup, some extra cinnamon, and a splash of almond milk. Spread this generously over the batter in the baking pan. Bake for 35 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C. Let it cool for 10 minutes and finish with the frosting. Get cozy and enjoy!
